Create Your Own Ceramic Candle Holder Centrepiece Workshop Location: Make Space, 3 West Alley, Hitchin, SG5 1EG Duration: 3 Hours Participants: Maximum 6 people per session Workshop Overview: Join us for a hands-on introduction to hand-built pottery. In this workshop, you'll create a unique ceramic candle centrepiece. We’ll guide you through making a slab-built bowl with candle holders, which you can decorate using coloured slips, carving, or choosing a glaze. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, so whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll find the session enjoyable and rewarding. I will take care of firing and glazing your creation. You'll have a small selection of glazes to choose from to finish your piece. Once your candle holder is ready, I'll notify you for collection. If you have spare time once you have finished you can also make some tea light holders. What’s Included: - All Tools & Materials: Clay, tools, aprons - Firing & Glazing: After the workshop, your work will be fired and glazed. You can choose from a selection of glazes. - Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. What to Bring: - Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We provide aprons, but pottery can be messy work. - Nail Length: Short nails are recommended, but not essential. Location: The workshop takes place in the intimate setting of Make Space in Hitchin Town Centre. With only a small group per session, you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance throughout the workshop. Please Note: - Non-Refundable Policy: Classes are non-refundable. However, if you notify us at least two weeks in advance, I will try to fit you into another workshop or reschedule your session to a later date. - Group Sessions: Custom group sessions can be arranged on request at Silverceramics studios We look forward to welcoming you for a creative and relaxing workshop experience!
