Create Your Own Ceramic Scented Candles Workshop Location: Make Space, 3 West Alley, Hitchin, SG5 1EG Duration: 3 Hours Participants: Maximum 6 people per session Workshop Overview: Join us for a hands-on, creative workshop where you'll craft your very own ceramic scented candle vessels. This session is perfect for beginners and those interested in exploring the art of hand-built pottery. During the 3-hour session, you will create two unique vessels: Slab-Built Vessel Pinch Pot Vessel These will serve as the containers for your scented candles that I will later pour after firing. You can decorate your vessels using coloured slips, carving techniques, or by selecting a glaze colour. If you have spare time once you have finished you can also make some tea light holders. What’s Included: - All Tools & Materials: Clay, tools, aprons, wax and scent - Firing & Glazing: After the workshop, your vessels will be fired and glazed. You can choose from a selection of glazes. - Candles: Your finished vessels will be filled with premium soy wax and a festive scent of your choice. (*please note this workshop does not include candle making) - Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. What to Bring: - Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We provide aprons, but pottery can be messy work. - Nail Length: Short nails are recommended, but not essential. Location: The workshop takes place in the intimate setting of Make Space in Hitchin Town Centre. With only a small group per session, you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance throughout the workshop. Please Note: - Non-Refundable Policy: Classes are non-refundable.
