Create Your Own Ceramic Tea Light House Location: Make Space, 3 West Alley, Hitchin, SG5 1EG Duration: 3 Hours Participants: Maximum 6 people per session Workshop Overview: Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop where you'll learn the basics of hand-building ceramics. In this session, you'll craft your very own ceramic tea light candle house—perfect for adding a warm glow to your home. This workshop is designed for all skill levels, so whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll find the session enjoyable and rewarding. You will learn basic hand-building techniques in pottery and how to assemble your tea light candle house. I will take care of firing and glazing your creation. You'll have a small selection of glazes to choose from to finish your piece. Once your candle house is ready, I'll notify you for collection. If you have spare time once you have finished you can also make some tea light holders. What’s Included: - All Tools & Materials: Clay, tools, aprons - Firing & Glazing: After the workshop, your houses will be fired and glazed. You can choose from a selection of glazes. - Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. What to Bring: - Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting messy. We provide aprons, but pottery can be messy work. - Nail Length: Short nails are recommended, but not essential. Location: The workshop takes place in the intimate setting of Make Space in Hitchin Town Centre. With only a small group per session, you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance throughout the workshop. Please Note: - Non-Refundable Policy: Classes are non-refundable.
